Dr. French confidently asserts that his first love and inspiration is God. He lives in Columbia, Tennessee with his wife, Belinda, and has taught math as a professor at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. His degrees include a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a Master’s in Computer Science. He has received at least 7 teaching awards. Additional experience includes: consulting for 3 major corporations in database design, teaching of logical thinking, and software testing. He is published in three academic areas.

We currently have three math courses commonly referred to by Dr. Austin as the "Math Trilogy."  Each teaching session begins with a Truth Gem from the Word of God.  These Truth Gems go to the heart of teaching and learning.  We have books and accompanying teaching DVDs for the following three courses:

Each of the "Math Trilogy" courses has integrated into it Dr. Austin's "no note taking" books (clear, pencil and big print handwritten set of notes). Through his years of teaching he has observed the note taking habits of the students. He was illumined about the concept of hand-written notes one day when he was unable  to type out new notes for the class, so he gave them hand-written notes instead. The reaction of the class was overwhelmingly a positive one.  As Dr. French told me, after I wanted to type the notes for him, "They were able to connect with the hand-written notes in their  minds, instead of taking the typed notes and translating them out of the type written format and into their own style.  The notes became absorbable, went right in, and became their own without all the work."
