BE ESTABLISHED (PART I)

(Psalm 90:17) And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us.

Moses who wrote these words saw the value of being established and how it was to be done.

For example, in the field of mathematics, we are to be established in the begin-press on-complete it cycle for working specific problems. We are also to be established in the begin-press on-complete it cycle for working specific problem types.

Some say they have math anxiety over a math test. You would not have math anxiety over a math test with problems of the type 1 + 1 = ___.

Since you are established in how to work a problem of that type, you have no anxiety. Anxiety can come from lack of being established.

One meaning of the word established is to be brought into incontrovertible existence. For a mathematics student what needs to be brought into incontrovertible existence is to have a nature that causes the student to faithfully, wisely study and also what needs to be brought into incontrovertible existence is the ability to work certain problem types.

For some the making of excuses is incontrovertibly existent in their lives; they are established in excuse making. When confronted with a problem, they are established in a thinking process where they seek ways to get out of doing the math problem (or course) rather than being establish in seeking ways to solve the problem.

Roger Wagoner pointed out that if you have a call of God on your life, you can be sure that God has a problem for you to solve. You will be taught how to be an established problem solver. You will enjoy being a more glorious you, established in good things, with no condemnation from the past you and it having no hold over you.
